Biz Propaganda & Marketing Digital Analyst and Copy & Content Assistant (July 2025 – Present)
  • Develops and presents social media performance reports for clients, providing insights to optimize digital strategies.
  • Produces diverse content, including blog posts (copywriting), scripts for video shoots, and translation of materials into English.
Debunque It Podcast by Royal Rays Initiative Uganda Podcast Producer (February 2024 – Current)               
  • Develops and produces monthly interview-based episodes, handling pitch development, scripting, editing, and publication. This work amplifies underrepresented LGBTQ+ voices in Uganda through compelling storytelling
Met Radio 1280 A.M. Collective Coordinator & News Coordinator (January 2023 – September 2024)
  • News Coordinator and Host of The Final Word (May 2024 – September 2024)
    • Produced weekly episodes of Met Radio’s news show, The Final Word, containing news and interviews relevant to the campus and local communities. 
    • Successfully engaged and trained new volunteers to form an active news team to produce segments for The Final Word; assisted volunteers in producing content; updated and created new training guides.
    • Conducted 10 interviews for The Final Word and successfully produced 15 episodes this summer; assisted volunteers in arranging, preparing and conducting interviews. 
  • Collective Coordinator (September 2023 – September 2024)
    • Handled scheduling and airing the daily morning show Morning Mixtape and supported production of programming for collective shows, such as Movie Mixtape and Met 30.
    • Produced on-air programming, including live shows, and assisted volunteers in creating radio.
    • Supported staff in recruiting for the collective shows and other outreach opportunities, including workshops and other events; helped to successfully organize and coordinate Met Radio’s first Block Party in August 2024. 
  • News Coordinator and Host of Morning Mixtape News (January 2023 – September 2023)
    • Responsible for coordinating a team of 8+ volunteers and ensuring the show airs daily on the radio, writing scripts, recording and editing my own segments. 
    • Previous volunteer experience as a host for Morning Mixtape News on Mondays, from May 2022 to February 2023. 
    • Wrote scripts, recorded, and edited over 50 ten-minute newscasts.
CanCulture Magazine Editor-in-Chief & Film and TV Section Editor (September 2022 – May 2024)
  • Editor-in-Chief (July 2023 – May 2024)                                                                                                
    • Coordinated and organized all aspects of the magazine, including finances, event planning and hiring the masthead.
    • Edited and published contributors’ work weekly; leads weekly team pitch meetings and approves pitches.
    • Was responsible for organizing event coverages, such as the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.
  • Film Section Editor and Writer (September 2022 – May 2023)
    • Supervised the Film and Television section at CanCulture Magazine. 
    • Created three story pitches a week, approved volunteer pitches and edited and copyedited articles weekly.
    • Assisted volunteers with reaching out to sources and creating their own articles. 
Review of Journalism Podcast Producer & Feature Writer (September 2023 – May 2024)
  • Held the role of Podcast Producer for the 2023-2034 masthead; worked mainly on Reviewed
    • Co-led a team of six people, produced, edited and approved over 6 podcast episodes.
    • Produced, scripted, recorded and edited episodes for Reviewed.
  • Co-led a team of six people, produced, edited and approved 10 podcast episodes.
  • Worked on two long-form features for our print issue (Pressing Saudades & How Queer is the Review?) and one online feature for our website (The Evolution of Queer Media); worked alongside the editorial team to publish, fact-check and copy-edit other features.

Teaching Assistant (September 2023 – December 2023)

  • Teaching assistant for third-year journalism course Reporting for TV (JRN 314). 
  • Work closely with instructor Winston Sih to create a great learning experience for students.
  • Assist students with any questions and issues during the class, which includes five broadcast days, where students create a 30-minute television broadcast from the ground up. 

Awards & Honours

Rebel With a Cause Award: Recipient of the 2022 Rebel With a Cause Award from the Journalism School at Toronto Metropolitan University. Given to students going abroad for the program.

JJ Richards Scholarship: Recipient of the The Radio Television Digital News Foundation of Canada (RTDNF) 2024 JJ Richards Scholarship for co-producing (alongside Sahaana Ranganathan and Lidia Radjcan) Reviewed Episode 2: Language Matters when Reporting on Palestine.

David Tafler Scholarship: Recipient of the 2024 David Tafler Scholarship for Excellence in Magazine Journalism from the Journalism School at Toronto Metropolitan University for excellence in work at the Review of Journalism. Given to “the graduating student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills, academic excellence, passion and dedication to the craft of magazine journalism, and is respected by his or her peers.”
